Updated EYLF Planning Cycle in VET
This dynamic professional learning opportunity offers early childhood trainers and assessors an opportunity to explore the updated assessment and planning cycle content in the EYLF V2.0 as it relates to both the current Certificate III and Diploma Courses.
Drawing on contemporary understandings of assessment and curriculum design in early childhood, alongside the expectations of the regulatory and quality landscape, we will explore how VET teachers can effectively prepare student for this important aspect of educator practice.
Deep thinking will shape the workshop accompanied by practical suggestions to inspire and challenge.
Understanding goals:
- Stronger understanding of the scope and expectation of the assessment and planning cycle content in the EYLF V2.0
- Identified teaching strategies to assist Certificate III and Diploma to successful engage with the planning cycle.
