Pedagogical Awakenings: Designing Conceptual Frameworks to Support Intentionality.

Join Circularity Consulting for a professional learning experience that honours the circular and unfolding relationship between educators and children. This professional learning introduces a clear system for strengthening intentionality in teaching, helping educators shape learning with purpose and confidence. By foregrounding intentional teaching practice, we provide a powerful pathway for exercising professional agency and opening space for deeper, richer learning encounters with children.   

Over two days, we will open up the idea of Conceptual Frameworks and concepts for learning as an innovative way to approach curriculum design. Drawing inspiration from the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia and grounded in the expectations of our Learning Frameworks, this professional learning invites educators to explore how working with concepts as intentionality can support more thoughtful and purposeful teaching practice.

Our hosts, the Centre for Early Education at Ballarat Grammar, have been working with concepts and research and will bring the practice of dynamic intentionality to life.  We will spend time exploring their dynamic learning environment and see first-hand how this approach supports transformative pedagogy.

Understanding goals

• Expand your understanding of the potential of the Approved Framework Planning Cycle and contemporary curriculum design. 
• Explore the possibilities of a Conceptual Framework to curate learning contexts for children as part of a Reggio Emilia inspired Curriculum Design
• Visit the Centre for Early Education at Ballarat Grammar and learn about the conceptual framework that provides direction to their curriculum design.
